International Day of Peace, 21 September 2019
Bulletin No: 2019.48 - Friday, 20 September 2019
Dear sisters and brothers,
International Day of Peace is this Saturday. Heartfulness will launch a campaign on that day around 2 themes: #PauseforPeace and #TenDeepBreaths. This will begin on Peace Day, continue through World Mental Health Day on 10 October, World Stress Day on 7 November, the release of the new masterclasses on New Years Day, and lead up to our Inauguration Event during Basant.
On Peace Day, we will also be releasing “Heartfulness Free Guided Meditations” online via the Peace Day webpage at http://heartfulness.org/peaceday.
All ashrams are invited to host a Peace Day program to showcase Daaji’s recent interviews in Hindi and/or English, which were recorded in Lucknow. This can be followed by Heartfulness Meditation sessions. Please choose the time that is convenient for you. Connect Teams may also want to contact schools, colleges, government departments, corporates, hospitals etc. to offer a similar program.
Ashrams can also begin plantation drives on this day and continue during the following week, leading up to 28 September. For any question related to plantations at ashrams, please contact kanha.plantation@srcm.org .
Daaji will be releasing a message on Peace Day, which will be sent out via a bulletin, and will also be available online at http://heartfulness.org/peaceday and http://daaji.org.
