Heartfulness Writers Contest

Passionate about writing? Looking for new ways to contribute to the Heartfulness Movement?

The Heartfulness Institute is excited to announce its first annual Heartfulness Writers Contest! We are looking for twenty talented young writers to contribute their thoughts on a variety of topics. Your contributions will be sent for distribution across various international platforms, both online and in print. Additionally, the selected writers will get the opportunity to work on some key writing assignments that are currently in the pipeline.

The winning writers will also receive an award and commendation including the opportunity to spend a week in Kanha.

Your writing need not be a promotional piece on Heartfulness Meditation. We want pieces of expression that appeal to a global audience. As a result of your writing style and engagement with the reader, we want them to discover Heartfulness. Keep the article limited to 950 words. For this version, we are accepting articles only in US English language.

For your submission, please elaborate on the following topic: “The Compassion Revolution”

Submission length: 850-950 words

Format: Times New Roman; 12-point; double-spaced

All entries should be submitted to Mamata Venkat at mamata.venkat@heartfulness.org as an attachment in either Microsoft Word format (.doc/.docx) or PDF. In your email, please include the following:
