Sunderland Ashram

General Information

The Sunderland Ashram is also known as the Natural Path Meditation Center and is the regional ashram for New England and Upstate New York. It is located in the rural Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts in the town of Sunderland, Massachusetts. The region is known for its natural beauty and close proximity to several area colleges and universities, including the University of Massachusetts, Smith College, Amherst College and Hampshire College.

Activities

Various seminars, including local and regional gatherings related to the Natural Path (Sahaj Marg/Heartfulness) practice of meditation, are held at the ashram on a regular basis. The ashram has a well-stocked bookstore that includes reading, audio and video materials published by Shri Ram Chandra Mission and a library that includes literature from a broad range of spiritual traditions.

Satsangh Schedule

Satsangh(group meditation) at the ashram is held three times a week as noted below for practicing abhyasis. Visiting abhyasis from other centers are encouraged to contact a local preceptor in advance if possible. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the posted satsangh times. 

  • Wednesday at 6:45 P.M.
  • Sunday at 8:00 A.M.
